How would you say that Egg Light? Compares to a Russ Short?

Haven’t spent enough time on egg light but I prefer it to the Russ short. Best of three worlds: egg, light vehicle and rs. I guess I’m putting out feelers they all have sentimental value haha. I’d price them at 700. I’m in los Angeles South Bay and also would trade for a bigger bonzer

I love golf but always end up getting complaints about washing my balls too much.
What do you all think of Bonzers in longer sizes? I currently have a 6’4" 5 fin bonzer. I want a really big egg for bigger outer reef days here in socal. Mostly i want the length for the very long paddle outs and to get into some of the larger swells before they stand up… get in early.
Thinking in the 7’10" x 21.25" 2.75". any one ride bonzers in this size?
I have had single fins and 2+1 in this size and they worked great…
basically trying to decide between 2+1 or bonzer.

I picked up an 8’4”x23”x3” egg on CL a few years ago and ride it in chest high + waves. Great paddler as you’d expect. It still has that slingshot effect from a bottom turn with your back foot over the hourglass channel but what surprised me the most was the quality of glide from center of the board. Up til now I’ve exclusively ridden 5 fins with the e-wings. This is a 3 fin model and coupled with the longer outline, the turns are a bit more drawn out, but overall, I’m very happy with the board.

Im currently riding an e-wing speed egg in nica, and desperately miss my 3 fin russ that wouldn’t fit on the plane. The glide and smoothness of the og 3 fins is unreal.
